Good Day I hope this finds you doing well. Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Mac. I am a 49 your old Gentleman. I am a Former United States Marine. After serving my country I decided to work in the Health Care field and did so for nearly 10 years. The same Professionalism Dedication Loyalty Honor and attention to detail nature I acquired as a U S Marine I have carried over to my experience in the Health care Field. I found your ad seeking a Caregiver / Personal Assistant. Please allow me to tell you more about my experience in the Health Care Field. I have experience in the care of both the elderly and those who have sustained a spinal cord injury. I started off as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in the field of Geriatrics. I cared for the elderly in nursing homes for nearly six years. In that time I acquired experience in the areas of but not limited to Proper Transfer Tech. Bathing, Grooming, Feeding Range of Motion Catheter care and some light wound care. After caring for the elderly I was hired as a Personal Assistant for a gentleman who sustained a spinal cord injury ( C-4 to be exact ) I cared for this gentleman for 5 years. While caring for him I gained experience in but not limited to Proper transfer tech . bowel care Cath care range of motion grooming bathing dressing oral care etc. I am no longer licensed as a CNA but have very valuable experience. My friends would define me as a man of honor truth off the charts humor intelligence high morals and an over all strong positive optimistic “Can Do” attitude. I currently reside in Virginia but am free to both relocate and / or travel if required.
