I am looking for a caregiver to work with my child. Upon my referral, you will be employed through a Home Health Care Agency based in River Falls, WI. Your daily responsibilities will be managed by me and I will work with the Agency on any issues that arise.
Until the beginning of June, the hours needed are limited to just a few per day – from late afternoon to early evening. From June through August, hours needed will be approximately 8-5pm, M-F.
**Note: If unable to work the hours until June, we are willing to wait to work with you for summer months only**
Description of Duties:
Provide daily care for a 9-year-old with cerebral palsy. She is unable to walk, dress, feed herself independently and requires assistance with most daily activities. She is also the kindest, sweetest little girl who will melt your heart with her smile. She has a great sense of humor, asks lots of questions, loves to be entertained, and is up for just about anything – especially if it is fast and fun! She will change your world if you let her – and you will never regret working with her.
Daily expectations:
Prepare and feed breakfast, lunch and snacks
Dressing
Exercise daily (walks around neighborhood, practicing sitting/standing, stretching)
Transportation to medical appointments and community activities such as movies, play groups, etc.

Who we are looking for?
A compassionate and energetic person who loves to be around kids. Someone dependable, comes with strong references, and wants to make a difference in the life of a child.
Who we are not looking for:
Someone interested in watching television, making personal cell phone calls, texting daily. This is a position you are going to be required to stay busy in – by working with our child. You must be actively engaged in care of our child.
If you are interested, we do require references and upon an interview with us and acceptable references, we will refer you to the agency where you will be expected to complete their application process and upon success, be employed for our daughter’s care.
