The Occupational Therapist is responsible for observing students and developing occupational goals. OT’s consult with the Directors of Programs the Clinical TEAM and Supervisors on a bi-weekly basis. OT’s are responsible for direct service with students, development of group and individual goals and programs, monitoring all student programs and collaborating with Supervisors to develop data systems to monitor student performance across all OT areas. OT’s are required to conduct assessments along all areas of student functioning, write reports, develop quarterly progress reports, and participate in student Individualized Education Plan meetings. In addition, OT’s are required to conduct necessary staff trainings and participate also in staff meetings and answer questions. OT’s must meet and have all appropriate certification required. Experience and/or background in Applied Behavior Analysis is highly preferred.

The therapy department offers sub acute in patient to a variety of patients such as hip fractures, neuro and ortho patients. Full time employment consists of 32 to 40 hours.
