SUMMARY The Onsite Assistant Property Manager works closely with the Resident Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the community, including leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, administration, and policy and procedures compliance.
SAMPLE OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:
Assist the Resident Manager with the general administration of the property and performs related management functions with the daily operations of an apartment community.
Assist with the management of property operations and associates in a professional and respectful manner. Practices and sets example for and implements conduct in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responds to emergency situations, contacting appropriate agencies or Regional Managers as necessary.
Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted.
Maintains a working knowledge of all maintenance programs to ensure the proper and efficient operation of systems, preventive maintenance programs, housekeeping functions, and responses to resident maintenance requests.
