Aquatic Physical Therapy aide needed 12-20 hours per week.
Job requires being in a swimming pool for 4 hours per day, some lifting of equipment and a wetsuit to stay warm in the pool.
This is a jr. aide position with responsibilities being greeting the patients, insuring they are safely entering and exiting the pool, putting on their aquatic gear as directed by the PTs and managing our aquatic equipment. There may be additional administrative repsonsibilities after the pool sessions are over including making phone calls and assisting with charting.
We work at YMCA pools and it is a great environment and lots of fun. There is much to learn from our PTs about aquatic therapy and if you enjoy working with people, this is a great oppoprtunity.
We are also able to offer internships or hours for PT school applications.
