General Statement of Duties: Primarily responsible for providing in-home assessment and short-term care advice to family caregivers and to seniors. Function as part of the Information and Referral team, including acting as back up to respond to Protective Services reports and assisting with walk-ins. Attend various meetings as a representative of the agency and speak at community presentations.
Qualifications: Masters degree with two years of experience working with elders or family caregivers (Bachelors degree acceptable with three to five years of experience). Creative solution focused good listener with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues, community professionals, seniors and caregivers. Flexibility and comfort working in a fast-paced environment a must.
